We are just one week away from You Have the Power’s 30th Anniversary Breakfast, and you are invited! On Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 AM, we will gather at Fourteenth Avenue Baptist Church to celebrate three decades of advocacy, education, and support for victims of crime in Tennessee.
This year’s theme, “Powered by Community, Empowered by You,” recognizes the incredible network of supporters, partners, and survivors who have made this work possible since 1995.
Special Guests You Will Hear From
This meaningful morning will feature inspiring reflections from:
- Mayor Freddie O’Connell, who brings a strong commitment to public safety and community wellbeing.
- Khalil Ekulona, former host of WPLN’s This is Nashville, who brings a deep understanding of local storytelling and connection.
- Terry Dickson, the great-grandfather of two children honored in the upcoming Voices from the Garden Volume 5.
Their voices will help guide us through the morning as we reflect on what it means to support survivors and build safer communities.]
