You Have the Power…Know How to Use It, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1993 in Nashville TN. Our mission is to educate, advocate, and empower those victimized by crime.
We provide training to professionals and offer educational programs to the public regarding issues such as domestic violence, elder abuse, sexual abuse, bullying, and human trafficking. Our presentations often include an original video documentary of crime survivors and Criminal Justice System professionals sharing their experiences. Resource books are broadly distributed at no charge.
Volunteers provide a vital service and are the backbone of our organization. Volunteers assist with program logistics regarding professional training, educational programs, and You Have the Power’s major fundraising events.
