Abbie Bayless recently joined the Nashville crime victim advocacy group, You Have the Power (YHTP), as Agency Communication Coordinator. The mission of the nonprofit is to empower those victimized by crime through information, advocacy, and understanding.
‘We are thrilled to welcome Abbie’s energy, knowledge, and experience to help us further our mission,” said Cathy Gurley, CEO of YHTP.
Bayless graduated from Union University with a Bachelors in Business Administration and a minor in Political Science. She has previous nonprofit experience working in legal aid in West Tennessee as well as acting as the Event Coordinator for the nonprofit, Heaven’s Cradle, in Jackson, TN.
Bayless will direct strategic planning efforts and media plan for YHTP. Founded in 1995, You Have the Power provides resource guides, videos, public education, and other crime victim support in the Nashville area and across Tennessee.
