YHTP CEO Cathy Gurley Nominated for Nashville ATHENA Award

Nominated by the Nashville Women’s Breakfast Club, Cathy Gurley serves as CEO of the non-profit You Have The Power. Under Cathy’s leadership, the agency developed and produced “No Girl’s Dream”, a critically acclaimed documentary on the problem of sex trafficking in Tennessee. Cathy is currently a member of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee, the Nashville Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Sexual Offender Treatment Board, Domestic Death Review Team, ACE Nashville: Building Healthy Communities, and the TBI Working Group on Trafficking. Cathy was a founding board member of the T.J. Martell Foundation Nashville. She formed Gurley and Co. with the encouragement of Frances Preston, President of BMI. The award-winning marketing and PR agency developed strategies for many music industry artists and organizations including Garth BrooksTanya TuckerStephen Curtis Chapman, and the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation.
