The following summary of recent and future YHTP activities was presented at the agency’s Board of Directors meeting, held August 13, 2019.
On May 2, You Have the Power was one of 145 community organizations receiving grants from the Nashville Predators Foundation. YHTP will use the funds awarded for incentive items for youth attending our bullying, sex trafficking, and sexual assault presentations, as well as our statewide Youth Impact Curriculum for at-risk youth.
You Have the Power is proud to participate in the sixth-annual The Big Payback annual giving day on Thursday, May 2.
On March 29, You Have the Power’s “Voices from the Garden” event commemorated the lives of Nashville children lost to violence in 2017-18, while also announcing plans for a revitalization of the Children’s Memory Garden of Nashville.
